Research shows that when you read your work out aloud , you pick up more errors that you do if you read the work to yourself.

In line with this research we added the fabulous Immersive Reader feature that adds a whole bunch of really cool features for all ages of writers. The computer reads the text back to students and teachers at a tempo and style that suits you. Reader is multilingual, made to help dyslexic students with reading and ESL / International students , better at finding improvements to be made.

There is a growing body of research that suggest ESL students need to make a connection between their native language and English. Immersive Reader does this with native translations built in.
